Why did my download fail with “No Video Found”?

This usually means one of three things: the tweet only has an image or a link-preview card (no actual video), the URL you pasted points to a profile or search page instead of a specific tweet, or the link is from a Twitter Space or live broadcast — Tweeloads only reads standard tweet videos.

What’s the highest quality Tweeloads can deliver?

original tweet was uploaded in, up to 1080p. Tweeloads doesn’t upscale — if a video was posted at 720p, that’s the ceiling for that specific file.

Can I download a video from a thread or a reply, not just the main tweet?

Yes. As long as the individual tweet you’re linking to (thread post or reply) has a video attached and is publicly visible, it works the same as any standalone tweet.

Does Tweeloads support GIFs?

Twitter converts GIFs to MP4 internally, so when you download a “GIF” tweet through Tweeloads, you’ll get an MP4 file — visually identical to the original, just in video-file format.

Access & Restrictions

Can I download videos from a private or protected account?

No — and this is intentional, not a limitation we’re working around. Private-account content is only visible to approved followers, and Tweeloads only accesses what’s publicly available on X.

Why does a video that used to work now say it’s unavailable?

The most common reason is the original tweet was deleted or the account was suspended after you first saw it. Tweeloads pulls directly from X’s servers in real time — it doesn’t keep its own copy, so if the source is gone, the download is too.

Is there a limit to how many videos I can download per day?

No daily cap currently exists. If that changes in the future, it’ll be to prevent automated abuse, not to push regular users toward a paid tier.

Privacy & Security

Do you keep a record of which links I’ve pasted?

No. There’s no account system, so there’s nothing tied to your identity — and the download links themselves aren’t logged after the file is served.

Is it safe to paste a Twitter link into Tweeloads?

Yes. Tweeloads only reads the public video URL from the tweet you provide; it doesn’t ask for your Twitter login or any personal information at any point.

Does Tweeloads add any ads or trackers to the downloaded file?

No. The file you receive is the same one X’s CDN serves — nothing is injected, watermarked, or repackaged.

Is it legal to download videos from Twitter/X?

This depends on what you do with the file, not the act of downloading itself. Saving a public video for personal viewing is generally uncontroversial; reposting someone else’s content as your own, or for commercial use, can raise copyright issues regardless of which tool you use. When in doubt, credit the original creator and get permission before reposting.

Is Tweeloads affiliated with X Corp (Twitter)?

No. Tweeloads is an independent tool and has no partnership, endorsement, or data-sharing relationship with X Corp.

Can I use downloaded videos in my own content?

The video still belongs to whoever originally posted it. Using it in your own content without permission can violate copyright, even if the download itself was straightforward — this is true across every downloader tool, not specific to Tweeloads.

Which browsers does Tweeloads support?

Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, Opera, and Brave, on both desktop and mobile. If a download doesn’t start in one browser, trying a different one occasionally resolves rendering quirks tied to browser extensions or ad-blockers.

Do I need to disable my ad-blocker to use Tweeloads?

No — Tweeloads doesn’t run ads, so there’s nothing for an ad-blocker to interfere with. If a download button isn’t responding, it’s more likely a network issue or an invalid link than an ad-blocker conflict.
